America's Most Exciting Restaurants


Novelty and themed restaurants can be found outside the U.S. However, it seems that only weirdest restaurants can offer guests unusual dining experiences. Guests can enjoy whimsical works of art there.

The Magic Castle is just for members of the Academy for Magic Arts. Thus, to gain entrance, you must be a member or have a guest card from a member. The restaurant offers guests guidance and assistance from the Castle Knights which is a group of volunteer members.

The Heat Attack Grill postures as a send-up of fastfood and obesity. Waitresses in nurse clothes take orders from the customers. The menu includes "Single", "Double", "Triple", and "Quadruple Bypass" hamburgers.

Lucky Cheng’s is famous for its cross-dressing waitstaff than its cuisine. The eatery pioneered the concept of dinner served by glamorous drag queens. The meals come with a cabaret show.

In the heart of Thai Town, Palms Thai is the local favorite in the shadow of Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the Scientology Center, and the Walk of Fame.

Located in Richland, Missouri, the Cave serves American steakhouse and Italian fare. Due to located in a cave, there is not much natural light. In stead, the restaurant has waterfalls, fish ponds, and a view of the Gasconade River. It cuts its own meat and makes everything from scratch.

At the Dinner in the Sky, guests can try unusual foods and eat at a table suspended at a height of 50 meters. The restaurant can accommodate 22 brave guests and 3 staffers for a meal in the air.

The Varsity Downtown is the world’s largest drive-in sits. It stands on over two acres and can accommodate 600 cars and more than eight hundred people inside. It sells burgers, dogs, homemade fried pies, colas and shakes.
