Pugh Does MAC

''This week Gareth Pugh is in town to enjoy the 100-degree stew that is the air outside and work with MAC on his makeup collection for the brand coming out in October. MAC hasn't done a designer collaboration since Rodarte (which was later sadly canceled), so Pugh's, which has been in the works for two years, is sure to be huge.''

La Tilda Gets Animated

Says the artist:
''I was commissioned by “Sinema” magazine in order to create a portrait illustration of Tilda Swinton for the cover. In the brief, it was also asked to customize the logo of the magazine. I came up with the hair idea, as soon as I finished the portrait.

Unfortunately, the illustration was rejected by the editor due to the fact that it was “too sci-fi” for them. ''

Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab - Watercolor Print

My most popular watercolor print, the "Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab" is making it's debut in this December 2010 issue of Chesapeake Bay Magazine.
Chesapeake Bay magazine - blue crab
"Blue Crabs, which had seemed on the brink of collapse in 2007, had rebounded better than anyone hoped. The 2010 dredge survey showed the estimated crab population at its highest level in more than a decade... The blue crabs have bounced back, in a big way!" as stated in this wonderful article by Tom Horton.
Wonderful news for the blue guy! Purchase your blue crab print today.
